Mikhael Blur submitted a new addon:

2.2 Map Collection (or just Sugoi 5 LOL) - Collection of many 2.2 levels to make more long and enjoyable experience!

Decided to make my own 2.2 levels compilation (like some Port Pack Remastered for example), because I don't really like re-enter SRB2 over and over to play exactly some levels from some level pack.

So yeah, here's full list of which levels I was added (with authors ofc):
  1. Toffer Tor 1 - RoyKirbs
  2. Rustic Templar - MK.exe
  3. Wild West - Dead
  4. (BOSS) Egg Hopper - from "Chaos Domain" Map Pack
  5. Foliage Furnace 1 - Othius
  6. Botanic Space 1 - DeltaSanic
  7. Botanic Space 2 -...

A nice pack to play when you've played the usual vanilla campaign a bit too much. Though I have noticed that in one of the levels, forgot what the name was... but it's the level that's shown above the screenshot of Foilage Furnace Zone in the overview here, you can get a SIGSEGV error immediately at the start, which is... Yikes... X_X

Can you give log with this crash? I can try to figure out about that, but idk I can help or not for sure.

Had to go thru the mod quickly to find the name of it, it was in Gate Garden Zone. The moment you spawn in and try to climb the little thing on the left with the blobs and rings, it crashes.

also caused me to reboot my entire laptop since it just kept eating and eating up my memory x_x

The log should be attached here.

Mikhael Blur updated 2.2 Map Collection (or just Sugoi 5 LOL) with a new update entry:

It's back! After such LONG time! Yeah...

I decided to undelete this map pack, with One change only - Dawn Sandfall Zone are deleted for now, due to some gameplay issues (like some paths can be impassable for vanilla chars) cause of new SRB2 updates, maybe I will fix this, but at another time, sorry.

But overall, I think this is a really good chance to play all GOOD 2.2 levels at once...

About that tho... Still think about repacking this map pack - gather some new...

Made an account to say thank you so much for making this. ‘Snagged it before you took it down the first time and it’s become one of my favourite ways to replay SRB2. You chose some great levels from OLDC (and ULDC) but I felt you skipped over many that make SRB2 feel like a full fledged 3D platformer. Also, good idea on ordering them by difficulty.

Here’s a couple I think you could add:

-Aqua Paradise
-Metallic Madness Zone
-Foliage Furnace Act 2
-Frog Fortalis
-Snow Valley
-Pipe Kingdom Zone 2
-Mercury Mine
-Hollow Hill Act 1&2
-Neo Palmtree Panic
-Woodland Way 1&2
-Overgrown Heights 1&2

With these added, I feel you can really make an amazing experience for SRB2 players in the 2.2 era. They are very open, colourful and packed with enough assets to create a whole new experience for SRB2.

Glad to hear that someone likes to play my map collection. Yeah, I will agree that most maps are being skipped, most maps I didn't add yet. However, I'm adding these according to my tastes, that are mostly based on how much I like vanilla 2.2 level design. Sure, there are some levels which don't really fit by these standards, so in the new future version, I want to divide map collection into several categories, which I told about it more later, but one thing I can say is categories can be help to compromise amount of maps, that most people want to play.
If I will be more specifically, I'm not much of a fan of these big maps (especially if they're lagging and don't have that complex level design that I always like), so I could add it to a separate category, but I will see how this thing will goes.

Some maps that you wrote on the list I can't add due to how poorly optimized and lagging they are.

Here's maps on your list I can't add to this list cause, well, they're LAG:
- Metallic Madness Zone
- Foliage Furnace Act 2
- Hollow Hill (I can add only ULDC ver.)

These ones MAYBE I can add:
- Hollow Hill (ULDC ver.)
- Woodland Way 1&2
- Overgrown Heights 1&2
- Neo Palmtree Panic

Some maps are already on the list of this collection (like Snow Valley, Pipe Kingdom Zone 2) , idk how you didn't noticed that.

Thanks for the response and insight on the process of adding levels. Never knew lag was that bad with those ones. I’m just glad you’re actively still working on this. Can’t wait to see the next update. Also, sorry for re-listing some of the levels you already added.

Me I wish I could create a story map SRB2 Omen. Well I will try to create a story map SRB2 Omen. I will install ExaGear and open zone builder but the storage data of ExaGear is too much. Well I will try.

Heyy nice, most of these are way too iconic, classic and timeless gems, i must say. Having a mix of maps from different packs like a fruit salad is frankly something refreshing to see.

Too bad none of mine are there because i took them all down due to me being banned from the MS, and thus becoming completely exiliated from the whole community.

This has forced me to retire, but in still here, peeping at the forum from time to time just outta curiosity! so i'm still reachable if anything. (Too bad i don't have a working PC to improve my maps, let alone play Srb2 more conveniently, given the case if i havent stopped playing Srb2 all together.

PD: my maps were very mid, close to mediocre, so i'm not even mad i wasnt there lol, rarely nobody played them anyways

Also, second side note, i still have the original files with me, they're not lost media.

I simply have them all saved on my Gdrive, in case someone wants the latest version of any of my mods for any reason.
