A couple of years ago, the slicer arrived to SRB2 as a result of an a joke about making badniks of Metropolis Zone playable turned into a full-time effort mod.
A year later, I present you the next newcomer to this rag-tag group of badniks, the re-imagined vision of a playable version of a classic Sonic enemy, Penguinator.
The winged penguin takes flight!
The abilities:
Glide & Spin Dash make their return. However, unlike the knucklehead, Yumi cannot climb walls.
So make every Glide count.
Wing Flap is the first character-defining ability. Accessible by using Custom Action 1 while in the air, Yumi
flaps her wings upwards. granting slight boost to momentum & altitude. While the example uses it conjunction with Glide to cover far distances, Wing Flap can also be used to give that extra upwards momentum to jumps that you wouldn't be able to make otherwise. The maximum amount Wing Flaps you can do is 3...
Unless you embrace Yumi's second nature, her affinity with water.
That's right. While underwater, Yumi gains significant boosts to her agility & toolkit.
Furthermore, the increased breath timer will further increase your freedom in the depths.
While underwater & above ground, accessible via Custom Action 2, Wing Dive provides a swift drop in altitude & boost to momentum. Use this in conjunction with Wing Flap for further increased control underwater.

Stuff to be improved on later:
-MP colors would be nice, but not really necessary for the character to function.
I designed these characters with SP in mind. (As of 1.02, this has been implemented... kinda?)
-Optimization of code is always a boon. Moving much of the code into actions would be part of this process.
-Perhaps some visual updates later? Another reminder that I have a habit of perfectionism.
