No, actually, this is just a waste of your time.

Knuckles misplaced his green cylinders somewhere, so he just put on the old yellow ones. He's also a bit more in the mood to mess with Sonic now and his red coat magically became more bright because of that. As for the white crescent, well...

v2 - Graphics replacements for S3 Edition Knuckles for title-screen/intro/credits

Besides updating a few skidding sprites with a minor fix for stray transparent pixels, this update's main feature is the introduction of replacements for vanilla in-game graphics of Knuckles.

SpeedManiac updated S3 Edition Knuckles with a new update entry:

v2.1 - Quick Tweak

A small tweak to address Knuckles' FALLA3, FALLA7, FALLB3 and FALLB7 sprites lacking the right color tone tone for a couple of pixels on his tan crescent. I might do another tweak like this again if I find something else similar, especially if it doesn't match with my Sprite Fixes mod.
