i gonna make a crawla model
soooo you need the textures

Then you open Misift model
I already made the model soo im gonna show how to use it
There are some blocks there soo then you click and use your mouse after this easy process add the block use mouse but where appears the model

To add your texture you go to
Materials
Edit materials
Click new material
then change texture

Then use the red tool the 2 or the 3 go to groups make a new group select your material and add to group
The model gonna be buggy but this is normal

Then you use the red tool again (Select faces) all your model need to be red
And press material and textures coordinates

And then you select the coordinates
Then you add your model to game example
the crawla one
POSS MODS/POSS.md3 (your size example) 3.0 0.0
