hello!!

i like super mario world, and this character originally was going to recreate super mario world, but is kinda turning into it's own thing.
so i introduce guy!!

the whole budget was spent on this

i have been doing sprites for this lil guy ever since i made the pk3, so uh i hope u like!!
also this was made on 2.2.13 since my mac won't fucking open 2.2.14 or 2.2.15

abilities


his first ability is the spin jump!

now does cool things, but ONLY if you hold custom 1 after starting it!
if you don't hold custom 1 after you started a spin jump, you don't get the cool stuff.

you can break walls!!

power springs!!

and uh, protecting yourself from damage!!
i should lowkey change that.​

second, the kick! (doesn't LOOK like one though.)
simply, hold spin to build up speed! and this also gives just a LITTLE bit of height.

oh but what's this?? it's different on slopes??

yeah, ever move currently has a slope variant! (except the next one after the kick)
with includes the spin jump!

and also the kick like you've seen..

and finally, a move that you can spam but you can't spam over a certain speed..

the PEELOUT!!
by pressing c3, you'll start up a peelout!

during this, it'll send you backwards slowly.
releasing c3 with give you a burst of speed!! :D

also if you above 92 FRACUNIT speed, it removes just a bit of your speed so you can't go THAT fast.

first off, changes to moves already there!

spin jump
the spin jump can damage things now.

very cool.

kick!
another small change, you can press jump to get a little bit of height and only a tiny bit of speed! this can also be used to direct yourself.

now i think that's good for now, let's get into the cooler and new stuff!!!!

the new stuff
wanted to put a new update out on this thread for a bit, but held it off until now for some reason.

tricks
tricks, i love tricks. so i added them to my mod.

there's two types of tricks, the one that sends you forward, and upwards.

oh and you see those afterimages?? yeah, their part of

p-meter full mode
go over a certain speed, and you get these afterimages!! so cool!!
taken from ntopp btw, saxa has given permission to use things from his work in other stuff.
you have to go over 42 fracunit, which after doing so, gives you the afterimages, allows you to break spikes, kill enemies, and that's it i think.
you can easily get into it by pressing the peelout twice.

also you can taunt now, hold it to be a dick in servers.
also when this releases you hosters have full permission from me to kick or ban these guys for this if they do it too much.

that's basically everything for now, i think, no new sprites sadly. next update on this thread will probably bee the final one before i release this here on the workshop.

found some mistakes!! so i edited and fixed
this thread finally has a new reply!! and it's short.....

first of all, guy has a brother planned 2 be added (just like luigi!!)
lowkey just realized i forgot to record some gifs, so that'll appear in the next reply i send.

also yet again, no new sprites. again.

first off, the trick jump!!
while at full speed, press and hold jump, and when you land on the ground, you'll do a trick jump!! :D

you get height, and have a chance 2 redirection yourself

also a new trick was added!! pressing c2 throws your downwards :D

oh and also the p-meter thing on your hud finally works.

also dude's (guy's luigi) moveset will prob be based on nsmbwii and kapi's rock and roll

yes.

yes. guy will be getting a recode in the future, i've improved in coding. (check the outcome memories in srb2 thread.) and i honestly want to improve guy, and make him, honestly more accurate to super mario world, as it was my original plan.

hopefully?? you can understand this decision!!
don't worry, i'll prob be posting a teaser soon.

by the way, i will not be redoing the sprites. they will stay as normal.

hi im back, guy's official recode has started!!
now, alot of stuff has been carried over from the original guy, like the freeslots, sprites, all that.
because im not freeslotting, all of that again.

also the pizza time support has been carried over too, so that's cool ig.
was planning to add gifs but, they took too long to upload so, here are my plans ig!!

first off, voice acting!!
yeah. one of my plans is to voice act guy doing stuff, it'll prob be loud but hey, loud sometimes is funny?? i think??

second, release the unfinished original guy
i will release him soon (prob when the recode is half done or smth), so wait for that mb

and third, finishing the sprites and stuff, and making him more wario land 4 inspired since why not?? i play pizza tower, pizza tower was inspired by wario land 4, so why not inspire like, 4 moves by it. that would be fun.

my mac cant run 2.2.14/15 aswell, i just use sprite fixes and sometimes i load 2.2.15 zones in 2.2.13 cuz i can
