Bug discussion!!!! :]

Wanna talk about something wholesome that happened last night to me, so I'm making a thread to discuss all the little buggies :]
I'm living somewhere deeper in the US, with more humidity and stuff, along with more bugs. (I like bugs a lot, and actually had a bug catching set a time ago. Wonder where it went.)
I was hanging around outside most of the day yesterday, and the dogs we're out, jumping and stuff. I was wearing my Uncle's jacket, since none of mine fit for some reason.
A Moth landed on the jacket, and just kinda stared, lmao
It was cute, but like
The only real thing I had for a light was the little light on top of the patio roof, that lights up via motion control.
I just kinda stared back. It honestly wasn't annoyed when I gave it a little pat pat on the head. And then it just kinda fucked off
I wanna try and look for Bumblebees later today, if they're out. I saw some when I was cleaning the pool skimmer, so
We have an awful lot of wasps here too
But they're not exactly harmful
They just sit on weeds all day lmao
But yeah, what are your bug experiences, and how do you view them? I'd like to know!

not really sure if this counts but a bunch of Mantis' (nice, friendly ones) came into my toilet room once (yes there is a room exclusively for a toilet in my house, idk why) and they got rid of all of the other bugs, so shout out to those Mantis' their the goats
