Bluetorch updated Better Character Deaths with a new update entry:

Deaths can now be disabled for your character.

Yep, Deaths can now be disabled for your character!

By Default this applies to Adventure Sonic, Deltachars, Mario and Luigi, and Pointy and Fluffy.

Spoiler: How do I add this to my character?

Use this code in your death script.
