I'm currently making a mod for SRB2 to have Rewrite as a character. I need to finish some things, I'm currently asking for help with him now!
if you know how to make a non ring drain super form, and how to make his shoes red, then i'm pretty sure you could be great help!
here are some photos and GIFs of how he is coming along as of recent!

I guess make the shoe green idk I dont mod srb2 but I know characters have to be green so it's able to change colors.

Hey! i was also making a rewrite mod. it is kinda unfinished but i can help with stuff!

funny enough.. I was also making a rewrite mod similar to yours! its a wip rn but I like how its turning out! (btw to turn his shoes red download something like gimp or Libre sprite and export one of rewrites sprites as a Png, from there you can edit it and export it out of software you used, and then import to Slade) since idk how to make abilities all of the abilities he has are reused stuff

Nice that I wasn't alone while thinking Rewrite should be in this game. :D
UPDATE: tested both of your mods, and both, while similar for some reason, are both pretty cool. :)

Also, you all can help with the mod. the first thing i wanna add is the abillity to change forms (kinda like Super forms), without ring drain.
 
hmm.. while im not that experinced as a coder. i do think i have a way for this.. lemme see if i can find a base first

Hi there, you should add a menu that you can desactivate the voice and add the trinity from fnf mod rewrite sonic round 2 when you become super sonic
