A question regarding MSV6

Well, it's been a while since the comments of the official page of Modern Sonic for SRB2 have been disabled, and I haven't heard anything about it that wasn't leaks or some rumours. Is there any chance we're getting MSV6?
Well, in my perspective, there's a possibility, even if small, that the team behind the mod is working behind the scenes to stop recreations, but I couldn't tell because I don't know if MotdSpork has any other social media. I also think of the chance that the mod is mostly cancelled due to last year's drama regarding leaks. Let me know what you think, or if you have any info that I didn't know/mention.

I think it's been cancelled a good while now.
Although that's probably for the best, considering how much of asshats people can be. And even then, you can't ever truly stop recreations. Someone out there will always have the idea.

With "stopping recreations" I meant that, if you keep the development of your project behind closed doors, the recreations will not be 100% accurate, helping to keep the hype up. But, if we speak about MSV6, a whole LOT of the things MSV6 had to offer was teased by gifs, giving the "re-creators" a solid base to work with. So, even if they miss little details like the Crouching or the Foot Sweep, they're still incredibly accurate because of the amount of stuff that was shown—Almost the entirety of it, if we're honest.
Also, now that I'm talking about it, the mod looked pretty polished if we consider how it looked in teasers, so that makes people even more anxious about when it's coming out, leading some people to make recreations to satisfy the general waiting for the mod.
