Why is there hate for SRB2 Workshop?

Long story short:
WS Admins had some beef with the MB staff over ports and other related stuff.

Added the fact that WS is seen as a sort of "black market", due to the fact that unlike the MB, the Workshop allows for ports without permission (as long as credits given at least), which its understandable why it feels like theft, and it gives whoever place that allows them a very bad reputation.

Yeah, but the people I've seen here aren't that bad imo. I saw people getting banned on the mb because they use this site. Not fair.

about people being banned from the MB for being WS members, as far as i know, it only happened because of what it seems someone on the staff had a bad day, and decided to abuse power like the trigger happy police he thought he was.

I do believe all, or most of the affected were unbanned, but i'm not sure.
 
I also heard the devs don't like Russians. Is that true?

Well, im no Russian myself, im from Argentina, but, it IS true that there had been some beef regarding them being from Russia, and some of its laws
