why are so many people leaving

I know about the leaking stuff but does that have to do with people leaving/quitting srb2

Theres too many of us that has been here for at least 3 years, and some for even decades.

People tend to get bored of tired of the same for way too long, and they seek new experiences, or something different to replace this.
Most or at least many will eventually return after we took a long enough break from Srb2.

also what DoMikoto said, people be losing interest on Srb2 ever more, and i mean these people who already got sick of Srb2, and dont plan on returning to the game, compared to the people who just wanna take a break from it

Yeah, I've honestly lost interest in the game myself. There's been a big change in terms of content on my channel. But I'm still here, though :D

yeah i'm new to srb2 but I got used to the controls now I mostly play the game.
 
Yeah, While I am more focused on different stuff like SuperTuxKart, FPE/Baldi and Minecraft and other stuff I still can find the time to play SRB2 every now and then. As someone who has been playing for like 3 years (but has only been in the community for like maybe half a year) the game can dull due to lack of content. Hell, I used to play every day but now it's been like maybe 2 months since I last touched it lol. Maybe I might play it every time a major mod/update comes out.
 
I think that... when SRB2 2.3 comes out, everyone will want to play, or rather, when SRB3 comes out.

Nowadays there's hardly more than 8 people at a time playing Srb2, if you look at the Master Server, and Kart it's far worse, never getting past the 4 people mark, and also DRRR isn't any much better neither..
 
It's a shame that people are abandoning SRB2; the only way to avoid abandoning it is to play or create mods for SRB2.

im here, still devving the remake (This time for real the good one) of my main Coop, which while it may be slow, its still in process, as good things take time (plus i get burned out extremely fast)
