Hello! for the past 2 weeks or so, i took on the task of FINALLY start following the original idea for my race maps, which it was creating wide enough maps to allow the player run around freely, with fast chars, finally achieving the real feeling of an actual race map, without feeling like its another coop map, with so many jumps and interruptions.

These are gifs for 2 of the maps i have redone entirely, i have finished 4 so far, and with a 5th one in the way.
These maps will eventually make it to Kart when theyre all done, killing two birds in one stone, as im building them more thinking with Kart on mind.
Thanks to Glaber for giving me early playtest advices and helping me on try shape the maps more properly, in a way that feels good.

(Dont worry, the maps do have skybox, i just have it disabled by default for obvious reasons, and 2 of them look incredible with skybox enabled)

i know nobody will care probably, but ill still comment anyways, so far i only have 1 map left, im very close to start porting the maps to kart, after i finished the whole revamp from scratch with better maps for Srb2 Race, saving myself some lotta work time when porting them
 
This might become one of the few map packs where I could achieve three consecutive bunnyhops with the mantis without bumping into a wall or careening off the map under vanilla momentum.

That being said, I'm sure there will be people who appreciate having dedicated maps for turning SRB2 into a speed simulator.

As i always said, most, if not all race maps for Srb2 are essentially compressed coop maps, which yes, sometimes its good, most of the times the experience isnt smooth for what it is, a race map. This is why i wanted to re create the maps from scratch making them compatible with Kart, not only to spare me a lotta time porting them, but also making the match smooth and fast, allowing for speedy chars (the ones that exist the most from all custom chars on Srb2) to freely move around without any space restraint
