I’ve never faced this issue myself, my mods are just simple maps and Lua scripts, but if you were working on something big and someone leaked it and used your assets without permission… would you really cancel the whole project?
I just can’t understand that mindset. To me, canceling the mod feels like admitting defeat to a bunch of impatient kids who couldn't wait for the final release.
Is that really a good enough reason to let down so many people who’ve been excitedly waiting—yourself included—to finally see the mod come to life?
Of all the reasons a mod could be canceled, this honestly feels like one of the worst.
Perseverance should be one of the key traits of any content creator, in my opinion.
Don't be weak, you're not weak. If you promised everyone you'd do something, then stick to your word.
