I was banned from SRB2 MB twice. The reason for the second time is plausible, but the first is more so. I'll explain a bit. I logged into SRB2 MB, normally, everyone logs in, but I forgot to read the rules. The rules said to speak only in English. I started speaking in Portuguese, poof, I was banned. And the second time, I was banned for spam because I was trying to sign up with other emails, sometimes on very different days, with several days' difference, and they still don't accept it. I tried several days' difference because I thought they had already forgiven me.


If the administrators/moderators of srb2 mb are seeing this, I apologize for everything wrong I did.

If some administrators/moderators of the SRB2 workshop prohibit this type of message, I'm sorry.

Don't worry, you didnt do anything wrong. If so, thats only just a small dumb honest mistake everyone tends to do once or twice, so there's nothing to apologice about, and if it is, theres no reason to treat it like you killed someone.

This was the Staff's fault, not yours. Speaking another language accidentally because you forgot to read the rules, doing it without bad intents, doesnt justify an inmediate ban, if so maybe 2 warns, and THEN maybe a ban.

This type of shit its what enfuriates me the most and makes me have even more reason to hate these guys at the Srb2 MB, and makes the WS more of a safe place to stay in, because here Domikoto, sirexer, and Mikhael dont give a shit about what you do, or if you do an honest small mistake like that.
So long as you're not doing nothing illegal by the eyes of the law or anything incredibly harmfull, say like bullying, being really toxic actively, or any other actual bad behaviour, there's no reason to be punished, even less this severely.

The MB staff is known to not give second chances, even if your ban reason was a dumb small infraction, the same as it would be jaywalking, or littering on the public road. Once they ban you, the odds will never be in your favor with the ban appeal.
You only got once chance to get unbanned, and if you get banned again, even if it wasnt justified, you're gone for good. FOREVER.
 
So, I just have to wait for them to unban me from srb2 mb.

They're most likely wont give a fuck if you try to appeal, because they're most definitely wont.. not because you're a bad person and a non grata person or anything, but because they're too unnecesarily strict and exageratedly closed, at the point that they give you the "exiliation" treatment even if you did a bad joke without the intent to offend nobody, or spoke with the wrong language once.

One question: does srb2mb ban by internet address or by machine IP address?

They only ban accounts, but they can log your IP, meaning if you try to create new accounts from the same address, they can know it's you, thus instantly ban your alt accounts.

This also carries the same issue that Roblox has, making it extremely unfair for everyone else on the same wifi if someone gets banned for any reason, be it deserved or not. And trust me, they DO make the same mistakes as Roblox..

EDIT:
I forgot to add: You can still browse the MB freely, you just cant create any new accounts while the one on your current IP it's still banned. You're limited to only be a spectator, downloading mods and seeing most threads. You just can't interact with the community.

Ahh.. i thought we were over this already.

When you create a new pk3 file, you will only see the Root directory of the PK3 file empty. The Root Directory its the main folder where literally everything inside the pk3 is stored, basically the "Mother Folder".

For you to have every file loaded in correctly, each Root Folder (Skins, SOC, Lua, Sounds.. etc, all of these important folders) must be in the Root Directory of the pk3 file.

In other words:
SRB2 does not look inside subfolders.
It only reads folders that are at the root of the PK3.


If you put SOC, Lua, or Skins inside another folder, SRB2 can’t see them, and the mod breaks.

If even after this youre STILL unable to sort the folders correctly.. Look man, i dont know what else i can do, this falls beyond my reach..
Ive tried everything i had in hand to help you, but you're just not listening nor cooperating..

i REALLY hope that this time you're actually able to understand what you must do to fix your issue.

Remember what i told you about PK3 being the same as Zip files.

Just decompress the file inside a separated folder to put everything, then you select all of the folders for Srb2 (SOC, Lua, Skins..etc) and compress them into a new zip file.

Then you rename the zip file into a pk3 file
